The Core Compliance Training Courses offered by GRC Essentials are the cornerstone of compliance regulations. They are:

  • Privacy Obligations 2025 – 26
  • Breach and Incident Reporting 2025 – 26
  • Cyber Security Essentials 2025 – 26
  • Anti-Money Laundering and Counter Terrorism Financing (AML/CTF) 2025 – 26

These courses provide a clear overview of the obligations of an AFSL and their representatives. They are revised and updated annually to reflect the constantly evolving sphere of financial services.

Each course has been updated to encompass new scenarios, quizzes, videos, interactive activities, as well as content updates. Specifically, each course has had the following updates implemented:

The Privacy Obligations course now incorporates the updates created by the 2024 Privacy and Other Amendments Act and Digital ID Act. These include the Cyber Privacy Principles, which introduce privacy cyber safeguarding principles that are to be implemented in conjunction with the already establish Australian Privacy Principles (APP).

The Dispute Resolution course has been updated to include the ASIC IDR Reporting Requirements and provides a clear image of how effective dispute resolution processes mitigate incident and breach risks.

These changes to the courses will assist AFSLs and their representatives in having a clear understanding of the compliance obligations of maintaining a licence in the Australian Financial Services.
